Without injuries, Chelsea have a very good squad to finish top 4 especially with a very good manager. Wesley Fofana and levi Colwill have both once been considered as some of the best young center backs playing in the league. Some also think Tosin Adarabioyo is a very good player. Ben Chilwel and Reece James are at the borderline of world class and are both leaders. Although Marc Cucurella and Malo Musto will have a genuine argument to start. Moises Caicedo is consisderd one of the best young midfielders playing in the league and Enzo Fernandez was the best young player at the world cup althugh he also has some experience playing in the Portuguese League as a key player. Christopher Nkunku and Cole Palmer looks to be the best attacking threat for Chelsea right now although the slightest improvement from Nicolas Jackson and Mykhailo Mudryk will see Chelsea in serious business in the league. The likes of Andrey Santos, Kendry Paez and Estevao willian are in the pipeline to come in and destroy. The good thing about using data to sign these young players is that when you strike gold, you find out that the player plays with a certain level of maturity. You dont have to wait too long. The likes of Messi, Eden Hazard, Cole Palmer etc. all seem to play with a level of maturity. Finally, while we all keep looking in the wrong direction, the real key is the manager. He has been brought in to teach football and improve the players - the likes of Mudryk and Jackson have a real lifeline. And if the manager is really good, he will get the most from any player not to mention players with world class potential. Unless Chelsea are in the business of selling their best players like Brighton, I genuinely think rivals should be worried especially for the future. In fact they may need to come and buy second class talents from Chelsea because Chelsea are mopping it all. Opps, Endrick and Pedro Lima got away..........

However the Americans are quite happy to see things from a business perspective not really the other way round. Go and check their history with LA Dodgers, there was a time when they signed young players and kept them for few years and they became a dominant force. I guess that’s what they’re trying to implement now with Chelsea.

Newcastle and Chelsea takeovers were virtually the same time. Chelsea was a CL and PL winning team and squad. Newcastle were a regular relegation battlers with a championship squad. Chelsea have spent 1 billion and have gone backwards, fighting for Uefa spots. Newcastle have spent under 400m and have been in CL and challenged for top 6. Newcastle could sell Isak Bruno Gordon and Botman and recoup their 400m with several new signings left in squad. How many of Chelsea signings would they need to sell to recoup the 1 billion? Could they recoup it all? One side is moving forward, the other is treading water at best.
