We are obviously struggling to sell players that are on higher wages. This is relevant to the fact that even though we have had 35+ms out on transfers already, we need to sell many more players still. Both harry and victor both need selling if we want de ligt, and others like scotty, casemiro and sancho need to leave for ffp reasonings. We are slowing down cuz we are almost at our maximum capacity of doing business in ONE window with 2 signings in and ugarte most likely being next. We still need a lb, another cb and maybe one more winger would be ten hag’s preference. We also should not be making mathias wait for a certain unfair future but we also need the right amount of funds for the players we let go. We have to get atleast 75ms between harry, sancho and casemiro and it looks like none of them are on anybodys transfer lists as a priority. We need to make some deals happen on that end of the spectrum. We have never been good at it so we can’t expect changes to happen in one night. Hope we can get some sales. Readjusted wages with newer players coming in the ineos structure is important to note aswell.

You have lost the pulling power so the last 5 years of overpaying and monstrous salaries have been done to attract talent. When they are not good enough like most of them you have a problem. Nobody pays Christian Eriksen more than 100k a week. Nobody pays Rashford 350k, nobody pays Casemiro 350k, nobody pays lindelof 150k... So the problem is the insane contracts the players are on. You have gambled on Yoro as well giving him 140k a week as a 18 year old. It will probably be good business but its a gamble.And I wont mention Antony and Maguire.
