If I was in a position to make a decision, I would not rush to sell Chalobah for two reasons. The first one is that he is one of the most experienced and reliable defenders we have. Secondly, selling him this season will not raise good money. He is willing to compete for a position and that is the type of player we want at Chelsea.

I think we ignore that he struggled with injury, was pretty solid before that and might simply be the kind of player who needed more time to get back up to speed ito game sense. Disasi I'm a bit more sceptical of getting there but I like him as a character and would love to be proven wrong. Trevor is undoubtedly the more consistently reliable defender of the three currently tho.

If you have someone NEARLY as good - but who raises 20 Million less ... You sell the better one generally UNLESS there world class - which Chalobah isnt. See- I dont agree. I dont see much in Gallagher TBH. He has endless energy and harrassess sure (he just chases), but ive not seem much in the way of creativity, reading/disrupting the game, and hes hit and miss with scoring. He does do a certation job, but I see him as a player you want when you DONT have the ball much. He wouldnt make my first 11 - and would only get used as a sub in certain games to close out. He looked good last season because the new players hadn't integrated yet and we had injury issues. Hes not a long term player for Chelsea for me. I wouldnt be upset to see him leave for half decent money personally - but we all see things different.

Broja is one of the best traditional CFs in Europe under 30. It sounds like an absurd statement until you start populating the list and realise how rare a true CF is, and he gets on the list by default. It's the same reason Giroud, Dzeko, Lukaku etc are still playing mid 30s. True CFs are rare, especially ones who are natural finishers. Most CFs these days a repurposed wingers who struggle to finish (like Jackson). Juve knows this, and we should loan with option to buy, not just give him away

Because Osimhen costs a ridiculous amount of money, wants probably about as much in wages as we pay Lukaku, and has some problems staying fit over a season. Remember we can only amortize over five years, so 15-20 per year for transfer fee plus 15 per year in wages. That's 30 mil a year, on top of our existing costs.
