I dont trust Gerard Martin, Fort, Fati, Ferran and Pau Victor if Baldé, Koundé, Raphinha, Lamine and Lewandowski get injured...😉

That was a brilliant display of strategies. That was football at its best. Nothing was random there. The offside tactic could backfire, but they knew their opponent very well. They did their homework. I am not a fan but Barcelona was amazing. It was beautiful and exciting to watch them play.

Hansi is also using Barcelona highline as strategy of manipulating opponent coaches who concentrate on how to break through it and most of the time this coaches change their tactics instead of playing their regularly tactics of ball buildup by defense through midfield to the forwards. They change by playing long because Barcelona wingers are pressing high and that's what Carlo Ancelotti did playing long with intention of Vinicius and Mbappe outrunning Barcelona defense. Kompany did the same mistake.

That is not Tiki Taka in anyway, shape or form. That is extremely, direct, very aggressive football with a full intention to hurt every time. Tiki Taka struggled at the end of Guardiola's tenure at Barca, as teams started to figure out how to stop them, by just sitting deep and go on the counter attack. But with Flick's Barca, you can't sit deep, since virtually all 10 players are in the opposition's side and at least 5 players overload the opponent's backline. Many people criticised Flick based on his performances with Germany. But what they don't realise is that his style takes time to learn. Unfortunately, at international level, they don't have that luxury. Can you see how hard it is for the entire Barca team to be in tune in order to catch the opposing team offside. It all starts with the attackers, all the way down to backline. It requires a heck of football IQ and ability to read the game from these Barca players. I am just impressed. Flick is just special.

You don't know total football then. You just call it tiki taka for passing sake but barca players are always about positional football where you see even fullback balde scoring for a reason. It's just guardiola prefers to build slowly instead of attacking whenever opposition lose the ball. Luis Enrique and flick added versatility to the Barca dna in various ways buy defending when opposition is dominating and countering quickly whenever opposition loses the ball
