What a perfect spot to build a house, there will not be any settling of this house....EVER. I believe overkill is under rated, personally I would have drilled the holes for the rebar 24" deep or more into the rock, then used compressed air to blow out all the stone dust from the drilling and then added the epoxy to the holes and put the vertical rebar in place.

I see the rebar holding the forms in place, but was rebar drilled inside the form and then poured over with concrete? Thanks! Interesting video.

What kind of drill and drill bit did you use to drill into the granite rock ???

You use what's called a "hammer drill." You can get a refurbished one around $120 to $140 - or rent one. You use a diamond carbide drill bit. Make sure the bit end is the proper fit for drills chuck hole.

Hi there, I am seeking advice on how to build a footing on the bedrock. I am unsure about the correct drill diameter to use and I want to ensure that I get it right. At present, my stakes are 3/4 inch and I tried using a 7/8 inch drill bit, but it turned out to be too loose. Can you suggest a suitable drill diameter that I should use for this task? Thanks!

7/8 is correct When you screw out all together it will be tight
