Thanks for showing all the girl driving/docking moments and also for not making them a big deal... I run a charter boat in San Francisco Bay and I get so many comments " oh you sail the boat all by yourself with no crew? (Raised eyebrows) wow must be hard! " but I'm not sure they would be saying this if I were a dude you know... good that on your boat it's just normal for Alana to dock the boat and no yelling at each other either- just the way it should be unless something is quite urgently in danger... most sailing should just flow like you show it so thanks! There's a reason you guys are so well watched and I hope it's partly to do with the fact that you have genuine smiles on your faces most of the time and seem to really not take for granted this fantastic life on the ocean we get to share with people!

Hi Riley and Elayna! I've been watching your videos for a long time now and I'm really happy to see that everything is going so well! I just wanted you guys to know that even though the pressure to create new content might seem to increase with the continously rising amount of suscribers you guys have, you should always stay true to what got you guys here. Raw, real content, with no other objective than to make the world see that happinnes can acquire many shapes other than the one of a full bank account, that traveling is the best way to embrace life and that innocence and dreams still have a place in this world. Don't make the mistake of making youtube influence the way you do things that is the worst thing you can do. Thank you very much for being an inspiration and a good role model! Keep it up!

My first sailing holiday in New Zealand we cruised out to Great Barrier. That was 40 years ago and I’ve been back several times. So glad you enjoyed it. I finally had to give up sailing a few years back. Scared myself silly when I simply found I didn’t have the strength to put in a reef when caught in a squall. Only good thing about getting old is it’s better than the alternative. Well, that and grandkids, of course.

I am doing a back to back NZ videos because I’m a Kiwi…has been a joy watching them, meeting the crew they’ve picked up, drone footage has been inspiring and music has been jolly good! And I see this is when an Outremmer cat was being visualised. I’ve sailed from Auckland to Gt Barrier Island some 40 years ago… the phosphorescence on the water at night was stunning. Live how you all loved NZ. We’re proud of it, too!! 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿

Riles, take this as advice from one who dropped an outboard (10hp Honda) overboard. It will happen and carrying that thing, you will hurt your back...Add a safety-line and put a davit on the new boat. Lucky I had at least a safety line but I admit a few too many beers.Look forward to many new adventures on the new cat.

20:45- nice job Elayna! You've come a long, long way! It's been really cool watching both of you grow and change as you've covered the miles.
@chatsworth7777 жыл бұрын
The quality is definitely getting better over time. I can easily see why Elayna wants to get help with such a time consuming chore. The drone is great for adding a new dimension. Elayna looked good bringing the boat into the marina. That is a nervous job because reactions are so slow. And finally; all hail Crescent Of Darkness. :)

Greetings from Texas! I stumbled upon y'alls channel randomly and I've been hooked ever since. The goodness, passion, heart, and soul that is so beautifully composed in each and every video is truly a breath of fresh air and heartwarming to say the least. You both shine and the goodness and truth that you both convey is very special and rare in our current day and age. The news, television, radio, and society is so wrapped up in scandal, quick fixes, sex, celebrities, instant gratification, and people's insatiable desire for meaningless stimulation. I have always dreamed of sailing and doing what y'all are doing. I've watched many videos on KZbin and they always disappoint because they fall into the aforementioned trap that plagues so many. I will not continue my soapbox but just know that y'all are very much appreciated. To slow down, to appreciate the beauty that is still in abundance, to see the world and to appreciate and love one another is what it's all about. I would be proud and blessed to have you both as friends but alas....I'll tune in to the next episode. Fair winds, safe travels and best wishes to you both! Thank you and never lose that heart :)

Hi everyone! As a woman I can definitely appreciate Riley's hot bod,, so thanks for that....mostly it's just funny! You guys have excellent sense of humour as i am sure you are aware. Seeing the nude moments on board reminds me of when I was a kid living aboard our sailboat in the BVIs with my parents. We lived there in the late 70s and there we many other cruisers who sailed past in their full nude glory. Nobody even thought it was odd....except perhaps 7yr old me!! I was most weirded out when we went to a little tiny restaurant on Peter Island. The owners were British and their kids served tables totally in the nude. Geez!!!! Very surprising! Not like my stuffy English relatives with hats and gloves etc. (my English grandparents emigrated to Florida, thus, unwittingly, they bequeathed me a great life growing up in a tropical place with opportunities to sail!).
