Hey guys so there are Of course things I forgot to mention and I will list them here. The trunk has a license plate trunk garnish which came with my trunk and the license plate lights. You might have to buy them separately depending if they come with your trunk or not. Parts will be listed in the description. Next thing is the hood latch. This is optional but the usdm hood latch is shorter than the Fd hood latch. You don’t have to reach in as much to open the hood. Again most people don’t even feel a difference but something to note. Lastly when you do the jdm front conversion you will need a Fd2 cooling plate. This is a plastic cover that sits on top of where the radiator is. Parts listed above. How did you fit the plate in the trunk, bolt hole doesn’t match plate holes, any suggestions? Do i need some kind of spacer?

So I know with the jdm trunk people make metal brackets. Mine is an Acura Csx trunk or fd5 trunk so it fits North American plates 👍

did the sidemarkers you linked fit the aftermarket fenders without any modification? or did you have to cut part of them?

Yes I did have to trim them a little for them to fit

@@dpac.17 Okay nice man congrats! So are are many ways to do this. You can go aftermarket which was what I first did. The whole kit includes everything for front end. Hood bumper fenders headlights headlight brackets and a front lip. I bought that in 2020 for 1600 shipped. Not sure the prices now. You will need to get a few things. You will need the black fd1 fender brackets because the aftermarket setup uses an fd1 application. Those run like 70-80 bucks. Then you will need the front turn signal sockets because the jdm headlights use a different size and will need to be spliced. Next is getting the side marker bulbs for the fenders and then the harnesss for those as well I think the side markers are around 70ish and the pig tails are like 50. So that’s prettt much aftermarket and yeah I paid like 900 to get it painted and all that. Now oem it gets pricey lol. So front bumper shipped from Japan was 400 for the bumper but 700 for shipping to the states. I bought my Mugen front lip off a friend for 600. My Js racing fenders I bought off art of attack for like 700. Then I got a Seibon carbon hood for 960 discounted because it was the last one. And paid like 1000 for the paint. So yea they do have the ridges. Mine is an fd1 hood. That’s really the only difference. 👍
