Footsteps Festival - A celebration of living well with pain - Promo Video April 22

The Footsteps Festival is an on-line celebration of living well with pain - the Festival was conceived via connections on Twitter and it’s a true coproduction with people who live with pain, those that care for them and healthcare professionals - we have been running for over 18 months now and have held more than 150 hours of live events, had more than 1500 participants and now have a library of over 75 videos of our events which have been viewed nearly 4,000 times.
We hold social events, information events, activity classes and cover most aspects of persistent pain self-management and support.
We are very lucky to be supported by the Live Well With Pain Website, the Physiotherapy Pain Association and Newcastle University.
We have run some longer courses including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Cookfulness - accessible cooking, the Ten Footsteps pain management programme, Zentangling (Mindful doodling) and singing workshops with the amazing Opera North.
All volunteer run and supported the Festival was initially aimed just at 2021 but has proved so successful and helpful as evidenced by the feedback, that we now forge on into 2022. We very much hope that people will continue to support our work - with attending live events, by sharing and viewing our videos and social media and most important of all, telling friends, family and clients of what we do!
