I swear I just can't get it. I keep trying to look at my opponents feet hands head whatever and the only way I can see a hit coming is by chance. I'm just lucky enough to block or I ain't. Please give me some tips. I'm quick I know but anticipating what's about to happen always gets me. Am I to old or what

By the way I love your videos. They are very instructive.

Thanks! The biggest thing is to watch your opponents “T-Zone”. Which is essentially an imaginary line running from patch to patch and is intersected by their centerline. It’s easy to lose weapons as they move if you are looking at them. Watching the T-Zone allows you to see the entire body through your peripheral vision. The best way to develop this is by sparring a ton! Keep at it! you’ll get there!
