Yeah, I've had a lot of good memories from the Bankies ever since I was filming them back in the mid-2000s. I now stick to filming the live games while letting those two chatty individuals provide the entertaining banter! Nice of you to attend, and glad you got to witness an impressive Bankies victory!

I'm not a Clydebank supporter but it still grinds my gears to this day how the Scottish footballing authorities allowed your club to be bought over and used to transplant a bankrupt team back in to the leagues. I wish you every success in the future.

Great video Sam. Really enjoyed seeing how vibrant my home team club is and fair play to the young team who go along. By the way for those that haven’t seen it go to Bankies TV to see Nick Little’s 40 yard screamer at 4 minutes 33 seconds of the highlights Clydebank 5 v Kilwinning 1. Paul and COD do a tremendous and entertaining job keeping us expat Bankies updated on matches with excellent commentary (looking good boys!). And we are very indebted to our fantastic Board of Directors and volunteers who do such a magnificent and selfless job. And also to Moff and his players for the great progress the Bankies are making on the pitch.

As a Celtic fan I’m always inspired by the way people support their local team especially the youngest ones who shun the glory of a big and successful club and it reminds those if us who’ve supported teams who win trophies how easy it is for us.

I'm a Rangers fan but live in Fleetwood and as I can't get up to Ibrox every other week i started watching Fleetwood when they were non league and been a season ticket holder there for 17 years now . My 14 year old boy loves it he's only got eyes for Fleetwood down here, we've seen some great times being promoted 6 times and ending up in lg1 which was just something that seemed so unachievable so it's been a great journey we've also seen some great players too a certain Mr Vardy being one . Just about got my head around Scott Brown being the gaffer ,I'll admit I was raging at first but he's slowly winning me round , he's made us very hard to beat and a mid table finish would be a fantastic start for him to be fair , massive improvement on last seasons showing

@@glockymc4611 Burnley fan here! Excited to play you in the cup got a question. How are you feeling now about your position in the league? Currently being 17th is it nerve racking? Just curious as I know how it felt last season when we just kept falling then eventually the inevitable happened. Hope it isn't the case with you I've been Fleetwood before as a neutral and it's great

@@Eso20213 the league position is quite worrying but we've added a couple of quality players in January so hopefully we'll start pulling away from the relegation zone soon . Can't wait for our trip to Turf Moor , its gonna be very tough for us but u never know

Been a fan for over 30 years, ballboy ( one of the ones who walked off), helped out with matchday admin when we were in our last season in spfl, steward and had a turn at kitman too, but now its even better taking my 4 year old to the game and teaching him about the history and what it means to the town. We are a massive part of the community, when people/charities need us we step up, we shouldnt have to, but when we are asked we do, no one now can ever take this club away from the fans, its ours, we will return to the spfl some day, but the journey of the last 20 odd years has been incredible. So thankful for the guys like Paul and Harkie who you interviewed who (and the others on the board) were just normal fans who suddenly found themselves on the board of a football team. Proud to be a bankie.

I remember seeing them play in the late 90's at Boghead, after they had left Kilbowie Park, in a game that was supposed to highlight their plight and raise awareness of what the owners were doing to the club. Don't remember too much about the game, except that it was (I think) against Queen of the South, and that there were quite a few fans from English clubs (wearing their team shirts) in attendance...think there was a group who travelled up for the game from Sunderland...oh, and I got to meet the bloke who arranged the sponsorship deal with Wet Wet Wet. Fantastic to see them back in the land of the living, might just pop up for a game some time.

They have been back as a club for over a decade now. I remember them playing in The Scottish Championship in the late 90's about 98/99 season I think it was but it's difficult to be precise about the season going back that far from memory not yesterday now. Keep Safe.

Sam's videos on Scottish football clubs have opened up a whole new world to me. Most EPL and Championship clubs receive so much money from sponsors and advertising that they don't need the gate money. For clubs like Clydebank bums on seats are essential.

Good news Clydebank coming back. I recall the heady days of their sponsorship with ‘pop band’ Wet, wet, wet. There was even talk of merging with my club Carlisle and us joining the Scots league (Michael Knighton’s idea). Yoker?
