Great little tribute film with all the nods to the genre, great Italian Western pastiche score too. You should be proud and so pleased you dedicated it to the Maestro.👍

Thank you for your kind words. Hearing the praise from spaghetti Western fans such as yourself makes all the hard work worth it at the end! We made this film for a few hundred dollars with limited resources. I was pleased as to what my team was able to achieve with this film at the end. The score was the main reason as to why I made the film in the first place. I wanted to pay my tribute to the Maestro. So, I'm very glad that you enjoyed the music. Thank you again for stopping by!

Nice job, the music was spot on!! A couple notes? Gotta dirty those guys up, clothes, greasy hair etc. and when they're hot, take jackets off, add some sweat... But you really captured the spaghetti western, the slow pace was perfect. That guy complaining about "not enough action" didn't get it!

Hey Mike. Thanks for the feedback! I agree. That dirty, lived-in feel of the spaghetti Western was missing here. Makeup really does go a long way when creating the visual look of the film. I tried my best with my next film. It’s a giallo-inspired thriller called “Midnight Boulevard”. Still in the post-production stage. Thanks again for watching my film and I’m glad you enjoyed it.

To all young actor.Work on social skills and strengthing your voice muscles.This is the best advice i can give..Your actions and movement come along with good speeking naturally. Best way i can dicrice to make your voice stronger is to talk with power but relax you mind at the same thime.Dont try to add feeling.Your mind will do this on its own over time.

@@dinithavithanage I'm terrible that way. Notice most everything. The pistols where too new. Not made at that time. But yes, did enjoy it and love the short westerns. Just came across them a few weeks ago.
@dinithavithanage2 жыл бұрын
@@theguyinmaine Haha I guess you're the exception it comes to all the "who's gonna notice that anyways" things that we look away from. We did the most we could with the budget. But it's all about the attention to detail. So I will pay more close attention on future films! Thanks again. How did you feel about the music? I spent a lot of time making sure that was accurate to the spaghetti Westerns. I composed it myself!

THE INTRO IS TAKING UP 1/3 OF THE WHOLE MOVIE
@dinithavithanage2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for checking out the film. I think we've got used to fast paced, short formed entertaintmet these days. So I can see why this long intro would turn some viewers off. I wanted to stay true to the form of spaghetti Westerns that I love and start this off with a bit of an operatic overture. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy it as much as others! I hope you stuck around and watch the rest of the film. Thank you again for stopping by.

That would be Tom and Jerry, but that aside, "action," is usually a cheap tactic to bloat a film. Pointless action stops story progression and pulls you out of the film. Good writing, good characters and good acting can pull a film all by itself. This particular film, is not an action movie. It's more akin to a thriller/drama with an overshadowing of bad things happening at any moment. Maybe it's just not for you. Film is subjective. I know I had fun.

The British first began using the term "Yankee" in 1758. A certain Brit general coined the term following the French and Indian war. The Southerners only continued using the term. One would think that those that produced this short would have done at least a bit of research.
