Wow mate, what a treat watching this tonight. First of all, your setup and the room it's in looks perfect very relaxing for playing - I'm currently limited to my bedroom 😂 When you played the choral voices it was immediately chilling, I think that song would miss so much if it was lacking those voices. An overpoweringly moving song. Great to hear how it was done on the studio version, I really like the sharp and quite "glassy" sound of the studio version but I imagine it might have been quite shrill live, the live version suits their sound better for concerts as a result. Heart and Soul was great to hear, I never knew it was also done on the Omni. I agree with you about the Omni samples - they're so close that in a live environment you really wouldn't be able to tell, and that's coming from someone who is very specific about synth recreations. The original sounds brighter and has the particular nuances that the samples don't, but for practicality those samples are great. Originals will always be king in my eyes, but with an Omni going for 2k I can see the appeal of samples. I found a good sample VST of the Omni and I look forward to giving it a go when my keyboard arrives. This really was an excellent video mate, very insightful and I really appreciate you making it for me!

This is great. I get bass buzzers in my studio as well. What are you clicking under the Omni?

G3 Zoom multi fx, I use the reverb mainly, all Analogue gear needs fx, it would be like Jimi Hendrix without his Fuzz pedal
