フリーベア・C-8Yを利用したベアリングユニットを紹介したビデオです。
用途：自作ステディカムのジンバル部に。その他。
使用上の注意
フリーベア本来の使い方ではありません。自己責任でお願いします。
Known issues
1.金属製（スチール）なので錆びやすい。定期的に洗浄・注油し、場合によっては分解・ベアリングの交換をすること。
2.インチ鋼球が僅かに変動するのでむやみやたらに動かさず水平を保つこと。

@NSUHBCU The gimbal he used here is a ball transfer unit, ball rollers to move heavy objects. He either had the hole drilled with a machine and threaded it or bought a replacement grip-ball with the hole already drilled and threaded to screw in a bolt. I also made a gimbal with a ball transfer and it works much better than a universal joint, which I also made before.

@P1NKL1ON さま 毎度どうも。 フリーベア単体でも十分使えるのですが、上側にもボールベアリングを使うとパンした時にふらつきにくくなったような気がします。 インチ球とM８ボルトの芯ブレが限りなくゼロに近くならないとうまくいきません。 風景は照準が定まりにくく難しいですね。被写体はもっと近い方がいいです。

お久しぶりです＾＾ やはりね　ポイントはリング２個でミニベアの固定でしたねｗ Ｃ－５Ｈで中心点のズレと落下防止による感度ＵＰを目指しベアリングのスペーサと同じ機能のものを メッシュ（金網）で作ろうとしましたが１６ミリ球では細かすぎて挫折しました 上下逆使用でやっていましたが　どうしても歩行に伴うロールは消せませんでした これはミニベアが構成する同心円上で１６ミリ球が接触していることだと確信 つうことで　最近はＵＪを使用しています 貴兄の場合は下向きですから擬似的に軸一本上にあると思われますから いいのでしょうけど Ｃ５Ｈにとらわれ１年無駄にしたカンジ・・・でもほかの部分で勉強になりましたけどｗｗｗ 腕は一向に上がりませぬ　風景を四角に切り取り日を見出す能力はないみたいで（自爆

wow, great answer, thanks xD I contacted many ebay sellers to know if those Transfer Bearing were easy to open, they all answered me that this was just impossible. I'm still searching for the right Transfer Bearing.

Yeah, I thought about it but the internal gasket is made of plastic and it may melt causing some problems with the fluid sphere movements.

Ok, so I bought a ball transfer bearing like this one, but with a stiff nylon ball, which should work great. I am wondering, with your specific unit, did you add the plastic washers on the inside, or was that already in there when you bought it? My bearing just came full of tiny 1/8" bearings. probably 25 or so, maybe more. If you added the washers, what are the specs for those washers?

Thank you for your fast reply. Yet another question.... Is there any important reason for opening the Transfer Ball and reduce the number of spheres inside or you belive I can avoid to open it. I'm asking because I already destory one piece because it seems not possible to reclose it without deform the housing

How did you solder the screw to the ball? I'm trying to figure out how to do it, and even perforation it's seems not possible due the fact that the ball is in tempered steel. Any suggestion?

@Tim1173JB ＴＯＰしたのベアリングはこないだ入れました これでパン方向は解決ですね　６００１を使い内径Φ１２に三好ズッポリでピッタシ＾＾ 上ベアリングだと芯ブレはＮＧでしょうね 風景は余震でもない限り動きませんから自分の動きをモロ反映しますものね その点動くモデルのある撮影は楽ですね なかなか決まりませぬ いい趣味ではあるのですけどね（笑
