All members of SC directly get veto power automatically if they are a member; it is given in the UN document unless that is changed. What they should rather do is to change veto power for everybody to absolute majority in voting, like above 66% or 70% consensus. Any one country blocking something even though everyone else is on the same page is kind of ridiculous.
