amazing song choice. going in, I had no clue whether or not it would work well with passerine, but rather than trying to connect the animatic directly to the lyrics, like some animatics do, you told the story you were trying to tell with for forever as a backdrop. you illustrated the song's feelings instead of its words. the wistful nostalgia of the first part, the rising swell of longing for something better, and then the ultimate plummeting sensation of losing everything, or realizing that everything was never there in the first place. it made this animatic feel less like a video, and more like an experience. I've listened to this song so many times that I didn't think it could make me cry anymore, but here I am, with tears in my eyes. this is one of those animatics that I'm sure I'll be frequently revisiting. thank you for this.

I think the most heart wrenching thing about Passerine is that it captures grief so vividly that you can't help but feel their pain. It hurts worse for those of us who have lost someone, because it's like we are grieving along side them. You're not okay, but you will be. I'm not okay, but I will be. One day. I don't understand how you broke down everything in the story and made an animatic that put even the littlest details and told the whole story. The song was a very good choice. The editing was also very amazing!! I like how you colored the tree, and the facial expressions were on point! I love the other animatics, and I don't want to judge them, but from all, I saw everyone just focused on Tommy dying. Like that was all the story about. I’ve gotta say, I have watched this so many times I practically have it memorized. I watched it before reading passerine, but this is what drove me to read it, and it was the most amazing story. I sobbed reading it, and when I finished and came back to this animatic, I cried again. Truly an amazing animatic, thank you so much!💕

This had no right being this good. Passerine is one of my favorite fanfictions, and I have been loving all the animatics. I think the Passerine fic/anamatics are the only ones that have made me genuinely weep. They are so incredible. Thank you for contributing your talent!
