I love when J.R. sounds legitimately excited to call something, it makes his commentary fun to listen to. My two favourite parts of this are that Keith Lee looks genuinely relieved and reinvigorated to be wrestling somewhere new, and my second is the way Kassidy sold for him and the hype up at the start of the match where he was flexing trying to hype himself up and have his partner hype him up only to turn around and be tossed across basically the entire ring had me laughing. All around great segment. It’s such good shit, pal.

This was JR's best performance yet in AEW for 'putting talent over'. His stamp of approval carries a lot of weight, I just wish he could bring himself to do it for folks he isn't truly 100% into.....wish he'd 'work' his commentary a little more than he does because its so damn effective when JR tells us 'this person is amazing, trust me'

What makes JR’s ‘stamp of approval’ so effective , is the fact that he doesn’t just throw it around whilly nilly. When you hear JR give it, you know the person has the talent, skill, and potential to be [or already is] a big time star.

I do like that this wasn't a complete squash match and Isiah was able to get a few shots in before losing. It foreshadows that Keith can be taken down by the right opponent... who I hope won't appear for at least a few months. Don't mess this up, AEW. Kassidy sold like an absolute fucking champion. Keith Lee was already a beast but this made him look so much more legit. this was a fantastic debut. and for someone as talented as Keith Lee i'm glad he got the chance to show what he can do
