Even though this still falls into recoveries loosely, I feel like a frame advantage tutorial would be great for people, I see people eat so many attacks because they just really want to press that button at the wrong time.

The recovery that really bothers me right now is Nobushi's zone attack feint; after the feint, you cannot change your guard direction for almost a second, and that cost me a ton of deaths before, in ganks especially

Thank you,this video was so helpful i ve been playing for 2 years and i never picked up on these subtle nuances....like most players i ve kinda learned each heros atk chaines finishers what to dodge so on...but recoverys,never payed much attention to them usually is just trying to survive or finish ganking someone.....freeze thank you on behalf of new and old players alike,i hope this comunity will grow stronger and more respectfull to each other....i ll definitely try do show respect and restraint even if this game induces waves upon waves of rage and frustration..but theres a glimer of hope,some fun to be had maybe some discipline...yes the only thing that the devs totally miss is that i dosent matter if you lose as long as the fight was good....ill end it with this gg freeze

So, freeze. I've been thinking. Why not make an in depth charecter guide per charecter and have guest content creators work on it with you so you dont have to waste your life away. I think there isn't enough video talking about matchups for each charecter per charecter and what the gameplan is past what their general defined style that their toolkits describe. For example, if your playing warden and the other guy keeps light attacking you out of your bash the right answer isnt to simply do the quick bash mid chain to directly counter but to take the defensive and gain some space because he is probably aware that your ready for the light attack and will make a read accordingly. So gaining space to charge safely is a better option. What im getting at is in depth videos about the mindgames and tactics that a certain charecter can support. It would be a very interesting series and something the community really needs.

Topic: How to GB dodges properly. i have trouble catching some dodging heroes like Kensei or JJ

You mean gb them out of their dodge attacks ? If thats so dont do it GB can and will interrupt enemies attack like if u feint a unblockable and imediatly GB and the opponent tries to parry the unblockable in this case the GB will take priority and negate that attack but that only happens if your do it in the early frames of the enemy heavy attack animation dodge attacks require you to GB on read ( for your particular question) if you try to react you will eat the attack unless you have revenge with revenge u can do it but since its a dodge attack u might wiff the gb. My advice is just make a read that they will dodge and get ready to parry or not since JJ can feint is heavy and Kensei not

Will you do be doing a video on chargable feintable bashes and the CCU? Hito and Cent can feint them early but delaying the feint was important pre-ccu. How do they work now with the auto delay changes? If I buffer a feint on Hito's kick before the leg raise, will the enemy still see the leg raised or will they see that it was feinted before the max delay timing. Comp players know when to dodge buffered feints like this so learning how to delay them is vital

Do you usually GB option select random people in matchmaking? I always felt it was a bit douchey to do - I know there's a pretty liberal stance to 'tech' in this game, but the GB OS is just anti fun in my opinion (especially for poor matchmaking players who have no idea what is happening) and uncomfortably close to being an outright exploit.

@@BillyThatGoat Yes, I know how to counter it. There was counterplay to Warden's old oneshot exploit too. It didn't mean it was good for the game, and honestly, the border where I call something 'exploit' is probably well behind them both.

@@andwoyciech4282 think of it as a zone os, except instead of zoning when your opponent feints you gb. It's broken for many reasons but it can be countered with a light.

Ahhh yes recoveries, the 2nd biggest nerf on PK's 1# chain move took a major blow an help slow down her offense a bit, Yeah the Devs nerfed tf out of Dagger cancel recoveries as if the 5 base damage on side dodge heavies which 95% stripped her of the ability to execute left & right wasn't enough. Meanwhile most of the other heros recoveries & execution abilities didn't get touched an some hereos even got buffs(HL) & new moves that made them a bit OP(HL,Cent,etc.). I don't wanna sound like some type of conspiracy theorist but why does it seem like PK takes some of the most severe & unfair nerfs???

I play since the beta and these training trails are very useless in terms of improving or even understandin' the game. Especially for newer players. Also this game should have ban system for sure. Map ban or even heroe ban to be honest. I lead an international eSports Clan on ps4 (search me on YT or FH tracker). We are getting sick of supporting the game that has no future. No Crossplay, no real balance in my opinion especially for BP or Warlord..., No Map ban, No heroe ban, no ranked dominion playlist and so on... And this game is already almost 4 years old. How long they gonna wait for it to success? They do not even play their own game just looking at the pick rate and win/loss ratio.

Not only that, supposedly For Honor was getting a 10 year support plan, as stated by the devs when announced. Yet look how bad it is in year 4, not even half the proposed time frame and the game’s future is looking bleak.
