Reavyne Gaming True, he really is powerful. I think I've been stressing about getting parried, so I should calm down with the hits and feint more. I was a good Berserker, feint a lot and getting guardbreaks, so I was confused why I was screwing up as Gladiator so badly! Guess my muscle memory was screwed and I needed to adapt. Thanks again.

for the dodge jab I like to follow with a top heavy and finish with a skewer. For the ones who expect the feint that works surprisingly well.

Yea i love conditioning people with feints and then just letting attacks go, the expect the feint but receive a trident to the face instead lol

A good punish when they are out of stamina get a skewer going and feint it for a out of stamina parry bait or feint it into a toe stab to catch their dodge

+A Liu Yea pretty much that I heavy then hit the feint button really fast then hit the guard break button really fast. The only way to get into the GB is by feinting the heavy :)

you solely rely on heavy feint guardbreak. what do you do, if some isnt going to blindly parry your heavy, thus being able to easily counterguardbreak you? all the chains end there, in that case

There is a combo with the skewer if you hit the skewer right after hit X with no direction you will hit a sucker punch in the middle of your skewer. to infernos together . this is very hard to pull off.

This character looks insane fun and such a bully I love it! After the parry into guard break into heavy can you can foot pin or skewer after that attack? I had the privilege of being in a 3v1 situation with 2 gladiators and 1 centurion and I remember is being stunned then laying on the floor. I have yet to see a guide address this so I thought I wold throw it out there. The gladiators impale applies up to THREE stacks of bleed. So the max damage impale involves applying two stacks before performing a wall throw into a free heavy attack. Keep slaying those kids yall.

I've been watching you for awhile Reavyne. Another excellent video. I have to say, this guy is so much better than Highlander. And I want to like Highlander, I really do, but DAMN he is so hard to win with. Gladiator looks a lot better balanced. Highlanderis just underpowered af, at least he seems that way to me. All the love for the Romans, it seems lol

At around 4:30 you mentioned you prefer giving the bleeds instead of knocking the opponent into the wall. I'd go for pushing them against the wall, then heavy and do another Skewer to make them bleed. Note, though, that it's not guaranteed. People can a. parry it and b. dodge it. But it's certainly a nice mindgame to play with ;)

What most people don't know actually and I think I didn't hear raven say this but when ur playing gladiator, his first heavy is extremely fast. Just by starting a chain not when the heavy is further in the chain. Because of that, u can start chains and combos like heavy, heavy feint to gb, ect.

Grandmaster Tactician old af but Feinting is just the cancel button (Circle or B) after starting a heavy. Then doing another action is recommended to continue off it

Dude you need to do a blocking parrying and faint video for gladiator or in general I have no clue when to faint seems when I try they are always attacking and see me do it a mile away also blocking and prarry for gladiator in mp is hard as hell for me training easy every time in battle agenst others always wrong timing also seems I have to button mash o on ps4 controller to make sure I faint cause if I just push it once it almost never is consistant

I wonder what the max damage from a skewer might be. I noticed that it said in the moveset that the bleed does three ticks, and you can still throw after two ticks. So, would max punish if you hit with a skewer next to a wall be to wait for bleed to tick twice, throw into a wall, then hit with a heavy?

Basically, that would be the same as PK, except it seems like you have a bit of a farther throw.

I think you can either go for the three ticks of bleed OR the GB throw into a cliff or wall and get a heavy punish. Not as versatile as the PK GB punish.

+Exactly Zer0 Mercy yea that's is one thing that really pisses me off about him, he blames the playerbase for being up set when Ubisoft clearly fucks up, and of course he refuses to call out Ubisoft because then they won't send him info and stuff early. any character with hyperarmor in the middle of their chain can basically override the deflect to skewer, the deflect doesnt stop their chain. i know this is 100% true when fighting a berserker not sure about anyone else besides valk

Nice guide man. Was looking for some good punishes with gladiator. The skewer can be parried on reaction all the time so be careful with it. A lot of players will wait for skewer but like you say mix in toe stabs. Missing a toe stab can destroy you but people aren't use to punishing it yet. Very short range and he has to pull his fork out the ground lel. So I don't feel those moves are OP. Not sure about dominion though never play it.

I feel like it could be kind of OP in dominion, but honestly if you have 2 or 3 good players against just you, it really doesn't matter which characters they're using. They're most likely going to beat the crap out of you anyway.

I wanted to Main the Highlander i hafe tried him a few Hours, and I hafe to say He s fun Realy but He has a few Not so Nice things 1 , his Health is to low for a Character like him, hes a Hittrading Hero but you canot Realy take many Hits or you are dead, his stamina is low aß hell , to low , and for the Massiv Claimore that the Highlander has his Damage is to low , i dont say hes Bad in 4v4 He is awesome, but his Damage is a Bit to low in 1v1 i think he s low Tier like raider was bevor his Buffs, but in the end i like Highlander , the Gladiator well im Not a Knight, i dont like the Faction, :D but the Gladiator is Awesome he Plays smoth , has many mixups is Not this mutch OP like the Centurion was on Release, an he looks Cool :-) , After your Guid and a few Hours with the Gladiator i will Main him over the Highlander :-). I also saw on a video (I haven't experienced it myself) a Gladiator got hit during the deflect skewer by a Highlander following the deflected attack with a hyperarmor attack. The deflect skewer seems to be completely neutralized by hyperarmor attacks.
