Debuff resistance does, in fact, reduce the amount of bleed damage that you take.

I run debuff resistance on my lawbringer and it reduces all bleed damage I take by a pretty significant amount.

also i thought throw distance was how far u throw items not characters. i remember equiping throw distance increasing gear and seeing no difference when i grabbed and threw my opponents.

Nah, you can only throw things as far as you can lock on to a character

Question (cause I'm dumb): So some gear you can't equip till you get to a certain level, but what happens when you go up in Reputation? At rep 2 lvl 5 can I still use lvl 18 gear?

Debuff actually does affect bleed. It says so in the in-game description of the stats post-season 3. FYI this was made when the game first came out. they've changed the stats quite a bit since then

only issue with gear is the revenge attack and gain it's ridiculously powerful.

doesn't matter if you can parry, if your opponent gets revenge but doesn't activate it you basically can't attack until it goes away because if you do your opponent gets a free knock down which leads to a free hit with extra damage to boot.

tip for lawbringer build if you are good at parrying - focus on defence, attack, gain revenge by defence, revenge attack if you are not good at parrying - focus on attack, all stamina stats, sprint speed, throw distance, revenge gained by injury and revenge duration. if you are fighting orrochi or peacekeeper with this build just throw them off the map as they are to fast if you have bad defence and will fuck you up...

I am a new player in this game. I got the game 3 days ago on my PC I know I am late and I have to fight prestige 1-3 most of the time. I am suprized that I can beat more expirianced players like they are nothing. I started playing as the berserker and am getting the hang of him. I got gold gear a weapon entirely confirmed at reputation 5 level 9 i got my 1st orange epic gear then i fought in breach i got a ton of epic orange gear a weapons they were all level 20 thro 30 by upgradeing with steel its alot its 135 steel per upgrade and its that 4 every upgrade

Debuff does affect bleed, that's the whole point. You can make Nobushi's useless if you run full debuff, since their power comes from bleed attacks

You noticed now that purple isn't the higher gear level because there Is yellow (prestige 5)above and the there Is soft blue that is the higher one.

I was wondering why I couldn't make my blue gear look like the grey gear I had gotten used to. I had a Kirishima head (very distinct looking for a grey) for my Shugoki's kanabo, but the first rare piece I got looked just like the default kanabo head. Was kinda disappointed, but I was still just glad I made it to rep 1 on a character for the first time. Gonna work on rep 2 later this week.

Really depends on the character man. Throw distance on Valk for example isn't always great. My goal is to knock em down and heavy attack. If they're too far away I can't do that.

You didn't mention the legendary pieces , they are weapon pieces with a star next to their name , I have 2 for my shugoki , you can only get 1 new part per reputation , so rep 3 you can get the head , rep 4 you can get the handle etc
