I think some healthy buffs/changes they could do to Glad is find a way to make his side heavy hit boxes bigger or change the animation so it’s larger Give him a guaranteed light on dodge forward bash. With just a forward Dodge mix up added to his game and getting a light + bigger cleave on his side heavy would give him nice buffs but not game breaking

Why dose every one say gladiator is bad as a enjoyer of the toestab man i think he is one of the best assassin's rn he is no roch or mister kick back doge kick but he is good im my opinion explain pls

He just doesn't have good offense. His bashes confirm nothing, his only pressure at all comes from skewer. Toestab isn't a terrible move but just like his zone it's super reactable, it doesn't work from neutral against decent players, and anyone who can react to feints won't fall for it either. Glad also has no real openers, because his only unreactable move (forward dodge bash) confirms nothing and is an interrupt tool at best. His defense isn't great either. His light dodge attack is gb vulnerable while also being a light parry, and while his bash dodge attack isn't gb vulnerable it confirms nothing, and both are safe to dodge attack. His parry punish also just isn't useful unless the opponent is about to be oos. Basically he just doesn't have anything nearly as useful as other characters, he has to work much harder for his damage. In For Honor every character can be viable, so he's not useless, but compared to most other characters he is pretty bad.
