This song saved me. I lost my mom, my business, my home, my child, my dog, my sister, my family was estranged & I was escaping an abusive relationship, feeling alone when this song came on the radio. I had to pull over and cry. This song along with many other things like going to the laundromat and it had stacks of Bibles, finding several little Christian pamphlets in random places, a random strange man I thought was homeless telling me God loves me… but I played this song everyday for so long. And everything is getting better in my life since I gave it all to God. Crying to this song on the side of the road was the first time I cried out of vulnerability. For so long, I held back tears because I was trying to be strong and tough. I had cried in pain when my ex punched me but I had not allowed myself to grieve for the losses. I still cry when I hear this song but it is now tears of joy for the life God is giving me.

For KING & COUNTRY is definitely one of my favorite bands. I was so lucky to be able to see them in concert last year, and I will always say that this is one of my favorite songs by them. I kinda laughed a little when you said you were so into the music that you didn't even notice what the woman in the video was going through, 'cause that was exactly the point. Nobody saw what she was going through. This song hits deeper for me now more than ever because I was very recently in this exact situation. I'm so thankful to God for giving me the strength to get help before it was too late, 'cause I really was literally right on the edge of ending it all. Thank you to the person on the other end of the Crisis Textline who listened to me tell my story without judgement, thank you to my spiritual big sis for listening and understanding when I finally got the strength to tell someone I knew irl, and thank you to my mom for believing me when I finally broke and spilled all that I was feeling and for apologizing for her part in it and for not seeing what was happening and helping me to make changes to get rid of the people in my life who hurt me. I know the video gives the number for the Suicide Hotline, but I also wanna let anyone who might not be able to, either because of situation or because they emotionally can't, talk about what's going on verbally the number for the Crisis Textline, which has been a blessing from God for me so many times. " Burn the Ships" is about one of the members (Luke) who's wife got addicted to a medication while she was pregnant. "Priceless" is about a woman's worth. In concert, Joel gives a remarkable speech about a woman's worth and how she should be treated.
