yeah Former collector here.. I actually found an near mint Oertels' 92 conetop in a wall. Unfort whoever placed it there put it AGAINST a damn water pipe, result in one sizable rust mark on one side!

Awesome find and great pointers on cleaning. I love Flitz Polish. I’m a vintage soda sign guy and Flitz cleans and shines without removing the enamel paint. I use a white terry cloth and every few swirls always look at towel to make sure I’m not removing any color from the sign. I’ve never had any damage with Flitz. Thank you for sharing and I love your videos.

I've got a bit of old beer and soda cans there flat tops as well as steel with aluminum pull tab tops some are better then others but I got a few ..
