When all the noise calms, when the calls stop rolling in, when the funeral is over and done..That's when grief really kicks in..Those quiet nights when it's just you and your thoughts. Grief isn't just about crying, it's those random songs, that signature cologne, the memories etc. Grief can be beautiful and painful at any moment.. Random fits of anger out of nowhere, sleeping longer than average, spending more money, eating excessively etc. Definitely praying your healing journey, because it will definitely be a journey ❤🙏

I watched your video where you were speaking of the goodness of God and I want you to know you touched my heart. You had me over here going through it, repeating the loss of my child at the age of 23 from a brain aneurysm 20 years ago and I still feel like it was yesterday but you so right on everything you said thank God for everything that you got right there no complaints, God gave you your son where you were able to make memories to enjoy him like you said some people didn’t even get a chance to do that I was able to go through my grieving by thanking God for the 23 years that he allowed me to have her because he could’ve gave me 23 hours 23 minutes or 23 seconds, but he gave me 23 years and I thank God every day for that and that is how I go through my healing and it’s not a healing. It’s just learning to live with it. always remember the goodness of God, because like you said, it’s just a test of everything we’re going through testing our faith on giving up on him or continue to lean on him. we don’t give up on him we let him carry us through. trust and believe me it hurts real bad right now, but it comes a point to where the hurt isn’t as deep. Give yourself grace. Grief is real! Your shock, sadness, etc are a part of grief. I'm praying for you and your family!! May God comfort you. Hearing you disclose about preparing for the funeral brought back memories of preparing for my Mother's funeral a few months ago. It's still fresh! Focus on your healing and most importantly, give yourself the opportunity to grieve. You are not the only one going through, like you said, but it's your journey and it's real. When I lost my mother, I was doing the same thing. Thinking I was sleeping a full 8 hrs and only be sleep for a couple of hours. It is indeed a very traumatic experience from disbelief to can't wrap your mind around it. It definitely creates a pain indescribable. It will be OKAY!!! But it is a day-by-day process. Man watching your videos and watching your spirit endure some of the thoughts that show on your face, as a grown man, has me breaking down with you. You are a strong brother and you will get through it, in your time and in your own way. Many prayers are up on your behalf. Much love to you and your family!!!!!
