After years watching KZbin videos we finally made it to TRAIN MOUNTAIN, it was a fantastic day. Even more exciting than I had pictured in my mind. We arrived in the morning and went on the short train ride, really fun. When we returned to the station I started a conversation with one of the members, Russ. He invited my wife and I back later in the day to go for a extended ride. What a kind and generous person. I can’t tell you how much fun it as. We live in Florida but we’ll be back. Again, thanks Russ for the train ride, I will never forget it! Jan and Chris

This is why i love America. The nature, The old homes like the Victorian style, Huge spaces, Lots of trains to play with and the way people are together sharing their interests. But mostly the beauty of the state Oregon. Thanks for sharing this awesome video. Many greets from Peter in the Netherland.

So is train mountain private or restricted public?

It’s privately owned and welcomes visitors all year during business hours. Walking tours are available and riding tours are often available as well.

True! They move a lot. Especially if they want to move a lot of cars.
