I don’t know if that was Jericho slowing it down to teach Hook wrestling basics or is Jericho just getting old… I wouldn’t say it was “sloppy”… but it definitely felt slow and telegraphed… but that’s just my opinion and I could definitely be wrong.

Likely a mix of both, before the shoulder block you can see Jericho telling Hook he’s coming in with the shoulder. Another factor is a lot of it was likely called on the fly and they both work at different paces. That belly to belly overhead was nasty though.

Hook was chucking around Jericho like a sack of potatoes . Reminded me of when Taz faced Jericho in ECW back in '96 and Taz damn near took out Jericho with suplex after suplex . Except where Taz choked out Jericho Hook pinned him . Give Hook a few more years and he'll be damn near unbeatable . While this is a nice victory for HOOKs career Chris was notably very slow in this match..as people said I don't know if it was age or he was slowing down so that HOOK could keep up because HOOK is still very new to all of this.. that belly to belly nearly on his face showed that. I understand seeing the potential in HOOK..he's got a very bright future..I just hope that they don't rush him into a spot that he's not ready for...because fans will turn on him..he deserves the star treatment but he's gotta get those reps in.
