Brother in law bought a new 68 charger rt with a 440 magnum . He let me try in it out ( with him ) on back road straight stretch ." Stand on it ", wow . I was 18 yrs old .

Awesome share. I can't imagine what it was actually like in the 60s, with the auto manufactures bringing out these monster horsepower cars like these, people shopping for them, driving them, NASA going to the moon, JFK, MLK, Cuba, Civil rights, Woodstock. It must have seemed like a decade of surreal dreams! :)
