Nice bike but not a 73(wrong rocker boxes) and not an XLCH! XLCH is all kicker...this has electric and kick start.

Those are older rockers boxes but they are interchangeable with the newer notched ones. It could very well be a CH.... someone just added e-start.

Ironheads are shaped with square boxy angles at the rocker. Shovels are shaped straight at the top of the rocker. This most def a shovel. look it up.

Shovelheads were the larger engines (1200s). The shovelhead Sportster's were called Ironheads.
