I love the screened in outside, always one of my dreams. Many homes have covered patio but I often muse about having the area screened in. So much to love here the pool area and the lawns to the lovely dock and tree. Love the bedrooms and baths as well.

Spectacular place, just WOW. I love that it actually has quite a bit of lawn, too. I think I would screen in the upper balcony. I think the mosquitoes were biting me just watching. Interesting having that secret bonus room in the closet. Of course, you had to essentially give up the closet, so I just don't understand it. If the stairs up to it were more user friendly you could turn it into a huge closet/dressing area. As always, thanks for sharing with us.

Plantation, Parkland area is basically Fort Lauderdale . A suburb of Miami. It's very nice out there. Most Cities call anything 40 minutes from the Largest city a suburb. For example Alpharetta is considered a part of Atlanta but its called Alpharetta 30 to 40 minutes from Atlanta Downtown. According to which way you go you can get to Miami from Parkland in 35 to 40 minutes. Taking route 75 from Miami will take you to Parkland quickly.

This is a fantastic home. Way too many mansions look like cold, impersonal, upscale hotels. Whoever designed this interior decor is a master. The blending of the flooring, the wall color and cabinetry is exquisite. Not a fan of some of the furniture, which looks rather uncomfortable, but otherwise, well done!!! (Three deserved exclamation points.) However, this is a low lying home on the banks of the Manatee River, that flows directly into Tampa Bay then subsequently into the Gulf of Mexico. In the event that a hurricane of any strength is headed toward Tampa Bay, what is this evacuation zone? I would HATE to see any damage to this masterpiece, but what is the risk?

Just to be accurate, that screened in outdoor patio kitchen is a WINTER kitchen not a SUMMER kitchen. Where did you grow up, Maine? It is too hot and HUMID in the Florida summer to be cooking outside in an unairconditioned room. Winter is when Manatee residents cook outside. THAT is when the outside environment is pleasant. Your credibility just took a dip. But in spite of your faux pas, it is still a great house.
