Thanks for another great video, my 6138 that I had serviced last year had the same issue with the minute counter wheel & pinion coming apart. Still better that than the chronograph wheel having failed!

Beautiful watch no doubt about that and relaxing and very interesting how Spencer works on it. Many thanks for sharing.

Great video Spencer! Interesting to see some other automatic chronographs and how they function. I picked up an old Citizen Bullhead like the one you bought for Sabrina a while ago. I'm curious: how come some of these bear a seiko '5' logo, and others don't? How's she enjoy the bullhead by the way? Hope you're keeping well!

I believe Speed Timers with the "5" logo were export models, while those without were JDM-only. I could be wrong, but I remember hearing that.

Have you ever noticed that the plastic day wheel finger looks a lot like the Millennium Falcon? Quarantine musings. :-)

Oh, real question: why did I not see a date code on the back of the dial? Did I just miss it?

Sometimes they're not there, especially towards the latter half of the 1970s. Sometimes they're faded down; printed lightly in red.
