Many years ago I was fortunate enough to earn a spot in the Texas State Mixed choir with the best voices in the state. This is the song we sang. Over 100 voices singing this beautiful song and yet these 4 voices do it much better than we did. Well done!! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾

FWIW, Having sung this before myself (many years ago), it sounds just as I remember it. Rutter uses lots of variation in his works. Not just keys, but rhythms as well. Nothing here struck as new or out of place

I found it hard picking out the alto part, the accompaniment was overshadowing the voices in some parts. Nice performance though.

I was trying to sing along to from (40 yrs ago) memory, and had the same difficulty. So wish they'd done this with mics....both for the general quality of sound, but also so they could elevate the vocals over the piano. Lovely no matter which way you slice it, nevertheless!
