I'm a Holden guy but these Barra motors are legendry . This car is a credit to the owner that he has a car that is a complete package unlike many cars you see where they neglect the brakes and suspension , once you start modifying everything needs upgrading properly and seems this guy has nailed it . Very impressed how it gets the power to the road and while you listed most of the mods I would be very interested as to the type of tyres if that is possible . Great car well done !

Early 4’s is pretty bloody good. (I’m ignoring the downhill 2nd run lol). Credit where credit is due - this is the quickest Australian road car Ross has ever tested so far. The next closest Australian model was an 800hp VF (4.57secs) and then an XR6T which did a 4.96secs. These are the only Australian vehicles in the top 16.

@@RossReviewsau hell yeah. Have ya heard of lakeside raceway it's just north of Brisbane and it's a very fast track. The V8 supercars used to run it back in the 90 to maybe 97ish? Or something around then. It got closed for awhile but thankfully it was brang back to life again. Awesome place I love it.

@@GENE_THE_NEMES1S AR1's aren't bad with some heat in them but yeah if you can run an 18" rim definitively try these Heros. I'm running them in a 275/40/18 and nothing will beat them for traction on an unprepped surface. I'm similar power to you and these Heros were a game changer. Limited sizes available sadly and I'd rather run a 275/40/17 but unsure when they're going to release them and the distributor isn't sure either. Love your car by the way 👍

@@Duncdawg there were a couple of barras with external gate and screamer pipe at powercruise 92 and i wasn't a fan. Without exaggeration, the noise coming from the external gate was louder than the exhaust. I think that's the main reason i didn't like it. The exhaust would have to be louder than the sound of gate for me not to get annoyed by it. But each to their own i guess

It was something I was very conscious about when I went to one of the top exhaust fabricators here in Brisbane, I said I didn't want it to sound like every other Barra and Dan at Elite fabrication & exhausts said leave it with him as he has an idea of a particular muffler not commonly used on 4 stroke engines he wanted to try as no one had tried one on a Barra before and this is what the result was, and a lot of people have stated it sounds very 2J or RB sounding 😎🤙🏻
