Great video. I live in western Kansas and I always new I would love fly fishing. 20+ years ago my wife bought me a fly rod for Christmas. I never got to use it. We had two great kids who we loved being involved in all of their activities. Last summer (both of our children are now in college) we took a family trip to Vail and I booked a fly fishing day for my wife and I. I was immediately captured by it. It was everything I thought it would be and so much more. Your video brought back all of those thoughts and feelings from that trip. Planning to section hike part of the Ozark Trail (current River section) and am hoping to get to do some fly fishing (traditional or Tenkara) would appreciate any advice or recommendations that you have. Are these streams blessed with healthy aquatic insect populations? Stonefly, caddis and mayfly hatches? Midges? Are the typical Euro nymphing flies effective in these streams?
