I was so deeply and profoundly touched by that moment I felt as if I was Simon sinking in the dark, perilous waters, despairing, about to die, but the Lord, in His mercy and grace saves him and reassures him with the words, "I'm always here." 😭😭😭

This show is so incredibly good. I’m a non-Christian, but my wife is. This show has made it so that we’re able to have religious conversations pretty regularly. It shows the real life struggle that people have with belief and it shows Jesus and his actual humanity. He cracks jokes and he sarcastic and he played games with his kin in Nazareth before he got kicked out. It just shows more real depiction of what we get out of the Bible. And the quality is incredible.

I cried my eyes out with this scene. I know the Bible doesn’t tell us what Pete and his wife went through during this time, but I love how The Chosen did a scenario that could possibly happen to any married couple. This scenario has so much meaning and hits home to so many people, but the beauty in the message of how God strengthens us through our most difficult and heart breaking struggles. Jesus is always there to help us, we just only need to trust fully in Him.

The thing that should make you cry is that today's so called Christians do not walk in that kind of faith. No Christians in the cancer wards healing the sick, no one calming the storms, no one raising the dead, no one walking on water! But they are so good at making fake miracles for the camera! No one had enough faith to actually walk ON the water? Will Jesus find ANY faith on earth when He returns? I'm ashamed to say I still lack that kind of faith. And I keep asking "why?", am I even saved? Why can't I do what Jesus said we would do, if we believe? Yes, that is what makes me cry. May God have mercy on our souls.
