I disagree with you on the divine relic part. this is because you start with 1 HP when using the divine relic. Sure, it gives you a buffed version of coffee, heart ring, whetstone, blah blah blah. But in my opinion, the fact that you have to get around 6-7 parries just to get an S- rank for a boss is where the problem lies. Why not use Astral Cookie and Super Art 2, or use Heart Ring by itself? Sorry but I think that it’s just harder to get an S Rank with the divine relic than just using heart ring by itself or Astral Cookie and Super 2.

The problem with Twin Heart is that unlike other charms, it helps to not lose, but makes winning harder. If you want to win, you don't get hit. If you don't get hit, Twin Heart only hurts. *Unequips Twin Heart*

For a long time I thought the charm was useless because of the damage reduction. Eventually I actually looked up the damage reduction and saw that it was only 10% and was really shocked and used it a lot when I S ranked all the bosses, it’s SO GOOD in my opinion, and mandatory (for me at least 😅) when it comes to S rank levels)

I’m sorry, but people hate on Twin Heart WAY too much. It only reduces damage by 10% or so, and the Heart reduces it by 5%. The difference is so little, it’s negligible. Having extra health is much more favorable than the boss being 5 seconds shorter.

Twin heart charm is basically just giving you two extra hearts. It only decreases your damage by 10%. Which means charge shot will only be doing 5.2 less damage. For instance, charge shot does 52 damage. 46.8 is the exact damage charge. Shot would do with twin heart.

Heart Ring is literally just better. It gives you up to 3 extra HP, and encourages you to get parries, while not lowering your damage output. It also allows you to get easier S-Ranks, since you can go back to 3 HP by parries if you had 2.

when I first bought the game, I was quite a bad player, I always used miss chalice, and after getting twin heart, I used it in the root pack! I still dunno how I never used life- saving charms like smoke bomb or P sugar. 1 year later, I played it back again, the only thing in my mind was the fear of the reversed title screen, I started using coffee, smoke bomb, and P sugar, and heart rather than twin heart, with these, I S ranked phantom express no damage ( P sugar), sally stage play with smoke bomb, the devil with P sugar and king dice with smoke bomb, if you want to be better like me, keep on focusing, never panic, use lock for bosses like rumor honey bottoms, and choose the right weapon (If you have dlc never use lobber!)

If it works for you then use it it, but I feel like heart ring just has so much more value in plane levels. And of course, you already know I use smoke dash in reg levels

This tier list of mine is meant for how I feel the Charms fare against all the bosses overall (safe for Coffee, I've since wanted to put that one a tier higher). If it were a Plane boss only tier list, Divine Relic would certainly be at the very front of S Tier (really, the only reason it's that high in the first place is because of how dominant it is when it comes to specifically Plane bosses) while Heart Ring would still be very close behind. Meanwhile, Astral Cookie I believe would go down a tier or two (Ms. Chalice is top tier almost everywhere else, but Plane bosses are the one thing I think she gets outclassed in, both in moveset and when comparing what benefits Astral Cookie offers over other Charms).

well… It’s not really bad, but charms such as heart ring and astral cookie are just the better option. Sure, you get 5 HP at the start of a boss fight or run n gun, but with heart ring, you can get up to 6 HP simply by just parrying things a boss or minion sends at you. Not only that, but with astral cookie, Miss Chalice’s super art 2 allows you to gain one extra hit point, and you get 5 hp in total if you didn’t get hit once. Although you have the same hp as you would have with twin heart, Miss Chalice is more easier to use than cuphead in like all boss fights. I would rank it as C Tier because you have better options than Twin Heart. And Twin Heart decreases your damage by 10%, which is noticeable. Sorry.. but I think that other charms just do the job better.
