I grew up on the mission field in Africa. Worked as a teacher for 50 years and now retired, work with hundreds of alumni in their adult years. I have listened to Chrisitan music from all over the world in many different cultures.........but this one song touches my heart and soul like no other and I just wanted to express my gratitude to you as a family for giving this song, in your rendition, to me and probably thousands of others. Because of your beautiful angels singing me inside heaven's doors? I was reading in Isaiah today, (Good Friday). Isaiah 44:22 says, "I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgression, and, as a cloud, thy sin: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee." God saw Jesus while He went through all that pain. And He saw our sins. Jesus's suffering was way enough, God is calling us back to Him. I am beyond thankful for Jesus. How beautiful, yes the singing and the story. A story of sadness when we think of the betrayal from His own people. The night in the garden. Knowing what was ahead of Him, yet not forgetting the miracles He did because of LOVE. THO He was betrayed, forsaken, beaten, and hung on the Cross, just how heavy was the weight of sin on His shoulders that He bore for each of us, As He went through everything to purchase our pardon. The Collingsworth Family is great as always. Kim does such a great job on this great song. We all as parents think and think about what God did for us to go free. He gave his son Jesus which was part man and felt all the pain but as a parent, we could not even think about giving one of our children for this what great love God had for us and what great Love did Jesus have to give His life freely for all mankind's debt that we could never pay so he choose to take our place. What great Love did God and Jesus have for us and gives it freely to us asking only to believe,trust and have faith in Him
