To anyone who needs to hear this, even when things feel like they'll take forever, they're more doable than you think. Just find one step you can take, do that, then the next one and the next one and the next one. I'll do this this month. Next month I will do this next thing. I went back to school after many years because I didn't like my job/career. It felt daunting, like it would be too much work. But bit by bit I did what I could towards the goal. Just petitioned for graduation for four associate's degrees this week and finished up all my nursing applications just yesterday. If you'd asked me two years ago if I would have accomplished that, I would have said, "That feels like so much." I felt too old and too self-conscious to go back to school. Now it's done, and I'm so relieved and happy I made the choice to take that first step to enroll in classes. If there's anything you're worried you can't do, don't worry. You've got it.

@LEphebe That very last episode of 'Six Feet Under' was one of the best series finale episodes ever created. It still makes me cry everytime I watch it. It had great writing throughout the whole series because every character had such nuanced arcs. Alan Ball is a genius. He also created 'True Blood' and 'American Beauty'.

With the astronaut example I just wanted to mention/share a quote some one once told me and they said that “rejection is redirection.” And it the initial rejection might sting and all your feelings are valid but you can always (in the words of Flynn Rider lol) “dream a new dream”

Your positive spin is addictive but you do seem a bit naive in the real world I suffer from depression and anxiety which I have had most of my adult life from medication to exercise healthy eating talking it over with therapist’s etc has helped but it still affects my daily living and employment opportunities as I struggle with learning and energy! I like many sufferers of mental health will be judged by people and lose opportunities thanks to genetics and judgemental humans making it just that much harder in my life! I persist but it is always a struggle my sister also has bipolar disorder and her life is hell! But I do find certain ASMR vlogs help your voice does help me with my insomnia at night and I thank you for that! Peace mate!
