Bulma never gets enough credit. She invented the most accurate and compact way to track Dragon Balls, she managed to reprogram an alien device to translate its data into English, she retrofitted an alien ship (nemekian), and she managed to break down and recreate saiyan armor. Plus her dad invented dynocap technology and built an interstellar ship by copying what he found in the pod that brought Goku to Earth. Imagine what Bulma and her dad could have done with King Cold's ship if Trunks hadn't blown it up. I always thought she should have made communication ear pieces like in Justice League Unlimited based on Scouter tech. Imagine how well the Z Fighters could quardinate with instant communication from anywhere on the planet.

Tien has every reason to be angry at Vegeta. While I don't hate Vegeta's character I think it was silly for most of the characters to just simply forget just how cruel and evil he once was. You can make every argument you like about him being under Frieza and all but that side trip to Arlia wasn't needed. He saved the race from a cruel dictator only to blow up the planet for no reason at all. That alone tells me that even without Freiza's influence he Vegeta would still be out there abusing his power and destroying planets. Tien's hate towards Vegeta is understandable. They may be allies but that doesn't mean he would ever be friends with the Sayain.

mrbignerd Nah, bro. I think some monsters are born and some are created by circumstance. I think Vegeta was mainly unstable and ruthless because of his childhood and the way he was ripped away from his family and watched his entire race die without being able to help. I think if he'd grown up to be the Saiyan prince, he would've been much different. Definitely not like a "nice guy," but he wouldn't be killing anyone for simply his own amusement, you feel? I think Vegeta was brought back to his humanity (even though he's not a human) when he got closer with Bulma and had Trunks b/c it reminded him of the importance of family and what he didn't want to lose again.

God, I love this version of DBZ. The Bruce Falconer soundtrack, Chris Sabat's OG sound for Vegeta.. I mean obviously Chris Sabat is a better voice actor since Super, but it makes it sound too much like Piccolo. I had never realized Piccolo and Vegeta had the same voice actor until I heard Super's dub and the similarities kinda bother me.

Chris Sabat just phones it in these days. He knows he is set for life and doesn't even try to make his characters sound different anymore. Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, Yajirobe, he does the voice acting for all of these and in the old dub, they all sounded different enough to tell them apart. Now though, they all sound too similar.
