As always Ben, this has been a pleasure to watch. I really appreciate your knowledge of the uses of the different resources on your property. A man that knows his patch of the planet. Thank you.

Thanks John, really appreciate this. It’s amazing to see a patch of land shifting across the years and to be able to share a bit of that 🏕️

@@BenOrford Just like the growth of a human being the land changes as time passes, and hopefully with our close attention and stewardship it is better than we found it when we leave.

Great to see you back outdoors.A much better way to demonstrate woodcraft and of course the products you produce and sell. I personally signed up to the channnel to see these sorts of videos not really into buying knives etc. Thanks alot. PS have you two been treking/wild camping recently loved your series on all that.

Nice vid - how would you compare the parang to a traditional UK style billhook?
@BenOrford
@BenOrford Ай бұрын
So ours is a bit different from the average parang, it’s actually like a hybrid of a parang and a billhook. The curve of a parang is just so efficient at cutting compared to a billhook + they often don’t come with a case. We have a video Axe vs Parang that goes into the benefits of a parang in a bit more detail!
