There was a clunker tv in the library. The bathroom is awful and the closet is narrow and dark. The place does look tacky. Show the apartment. Very poorly done video.

doesn't matter... people buy this for location and the bones of the structure - everything inside will be remodeled and when you are fine paying $65 million for a place, another $1 million for renovation costs isn't much..

This clip is just 4 minutes long, yet the camera repeatedly focuses on the woman showing the apartment. Why? Who wants to see her? We want to see the apartment. What appalling editing.
@johnargus9081

I was thinking the same thing! They talk about a skylight, but don't show it. They talk about a fireplace in the library, but the camera stays on the women. It has seven bedrooms, but we see one, and not a very good view of that one either. The editor of this video should be fired for incompetence.

I loved the excuse given as to why Rich is selling the home. Rich actually renounced her US citizenship in 2011 and didn't want to pay taxes on whatever. I guess if people knew about that reason, they might think twice about buying from a woman who is rich enough to afford to be greedy and stingy. Though perhaps prospective buyers won't care, so why lie about it.

0:31 ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?? THAT , is the master bedroom ? It looks the size of my nephew's Efficiency Apartment. And they want how much for this place ? Oh i'm sure it's nice, but did they literally just show a 300 sq. foot ''Master Bedroom'' with that asking price ? Do you have to move things out of the way to get to the bathroom ? Real Estate agents make me sick with their fluff and ass kissing , trying so hard to over sell places.

@vanessaliu648 7 жыл бұрын
you guys the reason why it's so expensive is because of the LOCATION. it's so rare to have such a good size property in nyc especially right beside central park. don't think that just because the house itself isn't spectacular that it's not worth the money. think about it, for one million you could get a decent mansion in texas whereas in nyc you could probably get a small apartment with no view.

LOVE what they did with the hand-painted cove mould in the bathroom!!!! I wonder if the chandelier in the dining room was a substitution for something finer that would be leaving with the Owner (things get sticky, when the Buyer wants you to throw in a priceless rock crystal antique,, as part of the purchase price - so it's best to have those go to storage, before you list your home) or if this has been there for a while. Nothing wrong with it. We've owned more vertical variants of it. And it seems to be hung with better crystal than usual. But still, those are under 20k.

Horses for courses, but Branson's island tops them all for mine. I'm sure some people would get a bigger kick out of being able to tell people they owned 'the largest apartment on 5th Avenue', but that island has something you could never buy in NYC : total seclusion from the rest of humanity. The fire would have been devastating for Sir Richard, but I'm guessing he was able to put the pieces back together and carry on.

Bob Wildeachit I know, right! What's with all the multi-billionaires that don't bother buying fancy A/V equipment? My dream is to become a hedge fund billionaire and one day get a penthouse apartment with a view of Central Park from Fifth Avenue, and/or Kensington Palace Gardens, Monte Carlo mansions and so on, but I wouldn't stick a 2005 TV / small projector screen with NO speakers. I'd have a 300" Sony 8K projection system with 100,000 watt hemispherical Snell THX Reference surround :)

***** a hmm different taste. if you're going to spend $20 million on a house I think the bathtub should be the size of a hot tub jacuzzi style and the shower should have like five heads blasting water because that to me is luxury. a nice kitchen wide enough to have five different dishes of food cooking white and grey marbling. I mean to me that's a modern style more fit for the modern women but we can agree to disagree.
