If you are outside of the northeast, it can be really hard to find a decent deli, with quality cold cuts and good bread. Jersey Mikes has allowed me to go to Texas and still feel like I'm at an NJ deli. In terms of fast food, they are far and above the best sandwiches, period.

His story reminds of the quote "To anyone who ever gave you confidence, you owe them so much." He is lucky to have a mother and a football coach (who happens to be a banker) who put so much confidence in him. And he paid that forward by trusting his employees as well by giving franchise rights to anyone interested. Seems like a legit good guy. Kudos!

They finally opened a jersey mikes in my town after having to drive to the next town 20 minutes over for the past 4 years. It’s the best sandwiches by far. Please never change things. The ingredients and quality of food and workers there is phenomenal.

Maybe things are better on his home turf…The one Jersey Mike’s I tried in Northern California a few years ago was a dismal experience, and I’m an easy going person. Never again was my first and last impression. I’ll take any Jimmy John’s 24/7 300 days a year , over going to any JM’s ever again.

We don't have a Jersey Mike's in our town, so the Publix Deli is probably the closest thing in our town to having fresh Deli sliced meat, but my God are they slow as molasses taking almost 10min for each sandwich. We had 2 Quizno's that went out of business and it looks like this is a great store to experience.
