@@nataliekahn1721 Usually you would "cut in" the butter and it takes a while to do. The butter pieces need to be pea size or smaller. Using frozen butter lets you use the grater and it's much faster and the butter is more uniform through the flour. It thaws pretty quickly once it's grated.
