Like all millionaires and billionaires Mr. O'Leary is only interested in the bottom line. How can he make more money? Money, money, money. No doubt a vice-president Trump supporter and, as with all these people in the 1% range of income, are just interested in what they can get out of the country and how much do they have to exploit the average wage earner to get more. O'Leary IS a predator. That is why he was a "shark". I have no respect for him and his cronies. I will throw in President Musk as well. He is a manipulator.

The tarriff plan will evidently lead to high inflation, the high inflation is a significant reason why most retirees have sleepless nights. The increase in prices of everyday items puts them at risk of running out of money. As prices rise, the amount of money retirees can withdraw from their retirement savings also increases.
@Derekhoffman312
@Derekhoffman312 13 күн бұрын
The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

You'll be losing money to China. Tariff's get paid by the importer (the company) and to recoup those costs, the company increases the price which you (the consumer) pays. Seeing that conservatives voted for Trump for economic reasons, I think they might be upset... but unfortunately that will require critical thinking, so they won't know until they are paying 40% more for all electronics with no american made alternatives. When the minimum wage is raised, businesses just raise their prices to cover their loss, creating more inflation, less benefit to the worker, who now needs another raise to catch up with the idiots that demanded a wage increase. 2:03- 2:21: What he said is correct, and sadly, most Canadians (a very small population, but the most politically naive nation on earth) don't know it. They simply let themselves be impovrished, (and straight-up genocided), by the CCP plans; through fenanyl, through pharmaceuticals, through being thrown out of their own housing market... through a variety of 2 decades-long economic and political take-over strategies... that Canadians loosely complain about, but neither fully acknowledge nor investigate. Unless Leary or Trump realize it themselves, the extend to which Canada is already FULLY CONTROLLED by the CPP will surprise them when push comes to shove.

I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. We are absolutely worried that SSI will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with my Abby Joseph Cohen my FA. “Made in [nation]” doesn’t mean “fully made in [nation] from domestic parts and resources, using domestically produced tooling”. So If there’s tariffs on the spare parts used in machinery because of imported spare parts, prices on the final products will increase due to that. And where a brand has its headquarter (=brand name being from the country) has noting to do with its products being manufactured in that nation.
