The tarriff plan will evidently lead to high inflation, the high inflation is a significant reason why most retirees have sleepless nights. Did the American middle class price themselves out of "Made in America"? Is it the high cost of health coverage? Is giving the wealthy additional tax breaks actually benefiting the working class? The distribution of wealth continually favoring the wealthy is not surprising.
@DAVID1SCHO16 күн бұрын
Now your seeing the picture. Maybe if all the wealth did not go to the top 1% and they actually paid their workers a living wage we could produce at home in North America. Unfortunately, Fox news would not like that because their revenue comes from the 1%. Trump whom they helped to elect will ensure more tax cuts for his 1% pals, including himself and Elon Musk, you can count on that.

The problem is high corporate taxes and excessive regulations driving companies overseas or out of business completely. You MUST understand that EVERY way this works out results in a "problem" for USA. You WILL have inflation, lower wages, civil unrest, potentially a Government starting a conflict to try and retain a Global position that is already gone. Don't say you weren't warned.
@logikell18 күн бұрын
Hmm, people in the US want inexpensive things. Bring home manufacturing where people want high pay and do you think American's will be willing to pay higher prices for US made items? US public companies, billionaires and their shareholders just care about the bottom line. Labor is cheaper elsewhere, that's where they will move manufacturing.
@mikeweaver774718 күн бұрын
@logikell and this is why America will Die. Because we will pay our adversaries for cheap labor, China. They will use the money to build a war machine, to push us around. I would rather pay people here more money, and have things made here. And better quality. Plus my medicines .Than to pay with my life or my kids life. No one like America, except that want our money. And some times I don't blame them. God bless America.

Then explain Fox News. I just watched a two-hour documentary by BBC World News on how Fox's propaganda machine in the USA is holding the Republican Party together. One thing that stood out to me was that Fox rarely, if ever, discusses policy. Immigrants crossing the border are minor compared to the real threat of China in Mexico. But that does not garner votes
