And since when did people start caring more about coddling criminals' feelings than seeking the truth and holding those who do wrong accountable? Not only did Granholm fail to sell her stocks like is required, she LIED about it under oath, then proceeded to collect millions of dollars in profits. Also, like you heard in this video, this wasn't Granholm's first time flouting ethics rules or reaping a profit from it. Apparently nobody called her out for it last time, so she did it again. When people are held to account for their transgressions, they're less likely to transgress again -- even a child knows that. Heaven forbid someone holding a position of public trust be confronted when they violate that trust, because apparently embarrassing the violator is more egregious than using one's official position to enrich oneself. What a pussified society we live in today, seriously. Now THAT'S something we should all be embarrassed about.
