Retired LEO here. Just so everyone knows, the reason every single one of these press conferences begins with a grandiose statement about how well all the law enforcement agencies and government officials are working together is because often times they don't. There is an unprecedented amount of in fighting that takes place inside agencies and between agencies that are supposed to be working together for a common goal. Many times, the people standing together stroking their egos and telling you how wonderful they work together would snuff the life out of the guy standing next to him if they thought they could get by with it. There are some agencies and leaders within agencies that work hard to foster good working relationships with outside agencies, but for every one of those there are 10 others that spend more time having a dick measuring contest. There were a lot of times in my career where I just set back and watched and listened. I've seen the Sheriff I worked for criminally indicted for multiple felonies, I've seen an entire command staff that I worked for shred their personell files to hide their wrongdoing so they could still be employed for off duty jobs to compensate their already inflated salaries. I've seen another sheriff I worked for lead a criminal confidence game a scheme walk free from his charges because his dad was having an affair with the DA. I've seen guys promoted because they had dirt on their bosses. I've seen an officer get into a pretend shooting, lie about it and then get life time pension payments after he was allowed to resign. That same guy killed a man more than 10 years ago and the case will remain under investigation indefinitely so it's not subject to open records requests because there's shit they don't want you to know about that investigation. If we want change in this country, we need to gut every government agency from the top to 1st level management and let the guys at the bottom who do the hard work make policies that actually support the mission. We're too top heavy and there's more corruption at the top then there's ever been at the bottom

For those not aware, the podcast they are referring to is Shawn Ryan. The suspect sent an email to the gentleman Ryan was interviewing, detailing the drones in NJ being extremely advanced technology, of Chinese origin. He also detailed war crimes he participated in back in 2019. Where he helped target buildings that were knowingly filled with civilians (i.e. women and children), that were subsequently bombed.

My father served in the milirary and was also a licensed Psychologist. Despite this, he struggled with PTSD and Bi-Polar Depression . I, myself, have suffered from clinical depression. The mental health Industry here in the U.S., is a travesty and it's a shame that people have to resort to extreme measures, up to and including death before anyone realizes that the person was crying out for help but noone would listen to them. I was once told, that someone called a suicide hotline, only to be told that intervention is not allowed unless they were an immediate danger to themselves or to others...well Duh !!! If that same person called 911 and said that they were having breathing issues, or a heart attack, help would be sent right away. Everytime there is a mass shooting, or mass casualty incident, these dopey news people always say " no motive has been determined". Excuse me you dummies, do you have to look far ? Family, acquaintances, co-workers, somebody knew that something wasn't right but they didn't want to get involved, or speak up. People who stay silent and don't try to help that person, are just as much to blame for the deaths that result , as the person who carried out the act. Mental health needs to stop being stigmatized and treat it as seriously as any other health issue. When Luigi Mangione shot the United Healthcare executive, he supposedly wrote in a diary that he did it, to get the conversation about greedy Insurance companies, started. The man who blew himself up, apparently wrote, "that noone pays attention to the injustices being perpetrated, until something newsworthy happens". I'm paraphrasing but he supposedly made a comment alluding to that. It's time to have serious dialogue about many shortcomings in the health industry.Otherwise, we will have more devastating and preventable tragedies like this.😢😮

Upon finding ID, they contacted his wife and she gave them information concerning his mental health history and a description of his tattoos for identification. They took DNA samples from the body, but takes time to run those before they have the results to compare with his DNA record.
