just wondering how is Ted going to implement this. Example, demographic is given on every medical school application. We have that opportunity to not fill out that section, however research has shown that those who do not fill out this specific section have a lower excipients rate to medical schools. I like the idea, but it can never be put into application the employer will always state a separate reason for not accepting the applicant.

Meaning your patent application will be rejected and/or you just don't get the job in the first place, if you do not play along. What Mr. Cruz asks for is that you can provide this information and retain control over with whom that information is shared at all times. Voluntary means that certain information only gets shared with a third party with your explicit consent that a particular party may receive a certain piece of personal information. Ms. Hirono wants "voluntary" to mean that once given to anyone your personal information can be shared by everyone.

When most of these legislators become very wealthy by staying in office a long time, they aren’t likely to limit their own time, unfortunately. The intention of the founders was not for anyone to make a career of an elected office, yet many have come to view the offices they hold as a position to which they are entitled and have come to believe that the concept of the Republic doesn’t apply in the case of their office, that they are not there to represent their constituents by acting on their behalf, rather seeing themselves as the all-knowing authority who will tell their constituents what is best for them, and it’s generally going to coincidentally be what’s best for the representative personally, financially, and politically and what benefits the party. There are far too many politicians who think it’s their job to tell the public what to do rather than to be told by the public what they want done. The government has lost sight of their purpose, their mandate, and for whom they are supposed to be working. A huge percentage of federal elected officials couldn’t possibly care any less about the people, what they want, or what is best for them. They care about control, power, wealth, and government expansion, staying in control as it expands, assuring they will be the ones in control thru that expansion, staying in power, and making sure they’re in position to gain more wealth. They’ll never leave on their own, it’s up to the people to put boot to ass when needed and elect fresh faces without the years of experience that seems to make so many jaded, imbedded, corrupt greedy, power-hungry, arrogant, and dishonest.

Their own argument seemed to end with "well if our amendment does nothing, helps no one and has absolutely no purpose whatsoever, then why are you fighting us on it?" It's not like she is trying to stop whatever the ultimate goal of this amendment is, because it's quite obvious it serves no purpose at all. What she was simply pointing out is how incredibly time wasting and stupid it was to add an unneeded amendment to a bill that already guaranteed exactly what the amendment was suggesting. Honestly, I really don't even understand how anyone can disagree with what she said knowing full well our senators just waste so much of our tax dollars and time to accomplish nothing anyway...but to argue this, is in itself, a huge was of time and money. Once they start using your idea you will have a burden to enforce your rights. Companies can simply outlast you in the courts. If the company must have your written consent and they do not have it, case closed; move on. But ambiguity allows it to be litigated and then the company has all the advantages.

If your contract state's any idea's developed within the company belongs to the company.then that's fine and correct.. Otherwise, the patent researcher may hold additional questioning through false means. Like James Comey through the FISA courts or a fraudulent wasteful Russia investigation or two wasteful impeachments that led to nothing. If i put a label that says "Put your name here__________" but no notice of voluntary or without stating that you don't need to sign, most likely what will happen is that you will put your name without knowing that you don't have to.
