It was a loaded question that exploited assassination attempts. In terms of risk, Joe's age should have required that Kamala be asked the same thing - a trap if your role is to be a faithful lieutenant. The answer was about as good as could be. Use the question to rub the reporter's stupid face in a positive, well-delivered Trump story and then answer that the american people are making the determination.

Vance is really so completely natural, comfortable, and unflappable standing up there, taking whatever question comes, and answering it with clarity and confidence... it is quite impressive... he's only 40 y.o., a senator for just two years... but i think he has rapidly scaffolded into strong leadership during this campaign and demonstrates presidential potential that is beyond what i see in Kamala - and she has been sitting in VP office all this time...
