If slanted roofs are terrifying how did Crooks RUN on the roof of several buildings to reach the point where he set up his rifle? The roof where he ran was above the buildings where snipers were stationed at the windows below. One or two window snipers left their position minutes before Trump was shot. They were seen on video leaving the building after crooks was shot, casually strolling in front of the building. That Sheriff also practiced at the same shooting range with Crooks.

I was a counter sniper with a local SWAT team that worked with USSS numerous times. This mess is the biggest screw up I have ever seen. The 9-11 attack was the reason that "interoperability" was mandated by all the agencies at the direction of the FCC. There were mandates that plain English only was to be used instead of 10 codes so there is no confusion. All the agencies were SUPPOSED to have a common radio frequency so EVERYONE was on the same radio frequency. The USSS teams I worked with were MUCH better at communication and including local LE in planning areas of concern. We were told where to be and were given the "cap of the day" which was a red baseball cap and told if we were seen on a roof without this hat with a rifle we would be shot.

YES, Have been touting the "Interop in comms " a while but as you know few adhere to it.. A ham radio op here and monitor digital / trunking local PS comms and hear the " we got this , don't need help" " locals a bunch of kids" banter .. ALSO w/ many using vhf , uhf , 700-800 trunking , P25 , DMR encription there is not a radio to cover all freq's..Giving a radio to the other leo's local dispatch is vital, but not done..

This is 2024 and the Feds aren't keeping up with local and state law enforcement agencies when it comes to radio technology and the radio frequencies used by them. Minnesota is a good example; I watch the live stream Live on Patrol that the sheriff over there does, and they have statewide channels in addition to the local ones, that they can monitor and communicate with other agencies in their state if they need to. Why aren't there any nationwide or regional radio frequencies allocated to law enforcement that could be used by any Federal law enforcement agency and also be monitored and used by any local and state agency, that if needed, they could communicate with one another. Why the Feds didn't take the radios offered to them, only they know. The Feds can learn a thing or two from the states who have robust law enforcement radio technology and communications.

The United States Secret Service clearly knows the importance of handheld radios for all members of a political security team, and knows how to supply these when the protectee is deemed important to the USSS.

Sadly, if the USSS had a competent comm guy, they could have built several radio nets to accommodate their own teams and integrate the local departments. It’s called interoperability. The DoD spilled blood learning the lessons of interoperability between the services in the early 80s. The police officer who took shot #9 testified from his ‘constant’ VISUAL CONTACT of Crooks before-during and right after he took his shot. Crooks was affected by his rifle round…so therefore there had to be fragments from his bullet or Crooks rifles but-stock on his neck and shoulder area. This doctor looks like a witness HOPING CERTAIN QUESTIONS ARE NOT ASK. PS. Crooks body was cremated so fast for one reason only. [PLUS] I think it’s a travesty that a murder and two attempted murder investigations were not carried out for its local citizens. Trump is the former President visiting a city in America. HOW IS IT THE FBI ‘AUTOMATICALLY’ gets to take and control all the evidence…AND mind you are the ones on the roof days later WASHING THE ROOF DOWN? One word: COVERUP!
