Exactly. My understanding is that the "bi-partisan" bill had an appropriation totaling $120 billion Of that, $100 billion was for Ukraine, Israel, and other lesser issues. Only $20 billion was carved out for immigration issues. And you can bet much of that would have been spent expediting the processing and increasing the number of immigrants that would be made legal. Matt Gaetz had it absolutely right. There should only be single issue bills.
