Maggie Doyne is the founder of Kopila Valley Children's Home and School in Surkhet, Nepal. At age 19, Maggie used her life-savings to build a home for orphaned children in war-ravaged Nepal. In 2010, she opened a school for 300 of the region's most impover- ished children. Now, at age 25, Maggie is the legal guardian to 40 children, her work has been championed by Pulitzer Prize- winning columnist Nicholas Kristof as a cover story for The NYT Magazine.
