By creating this video, you ARE preserving history. With these images now on the web, people who would never have a chance to visit in person can still see and appreciate the work of artists and worshipers long passed. Thank you for your part in saving these images in a medium the creators could never have envisioned.

You have to get a permission letter from some govt officials to see them. Those paints are sensitive to light. To avoid vandalism, its kept out of public view. A printed version is available in connemara library, egmore,Chennai. Its a govt. Library.

Flashlight trick for future reference; use a flashlight with an 18650 battery (higher the lumens the brighter the glow) and cut out the center of a water bottle cap. Place plastic circle into the flashlight lense bezel. Giving the flashlight a even diffusion and very little reflection back.

I’m very curious, did the handbag you saw happen to look similar to the “handbags” found in the art of many different ancient civilizations world wide? Do a simple search for “ancient handbags” in a search engine if you don’t know what I am talking about. Thanks, if you see this (I know I’m 2 years late).

I'm not sure if you're aware of this Praveen, but some of the caves wall plaster have been scientifically tested and found to have been a mix of cannabis, clay and lime. Cannebis was used to control the humidity, for the monks living there, and also to control insects. The cannebis was found to be native to Aurangabad. Maybe you have done other videos on this that I missed. Check it out. Thanks a stack for letting us into the cave. Those artworks are exquisite. 👍

Hey Thanx for sharing this video, welll I follow Jainism and the painting you saw in that chamber is of life incidents of Lord Mahaveera when he attain DIKSHA leaving his family behind first painting shows how he was as king filled with all materialisticcomforts , in second painting it represents the moment when he decides to take Diksha. In Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Diksa is given in a one-to-one ceremony, and typically includes the taking on of a serious spiritual discipline.

Neelimaglory Hmmm! Maybe this is why the government ignores these paintings and keeps them away from the public... Shubhasya Shigram As far as I know, they did understand the Vedas, but they rejected it for some reasons. Anyway, I don't know how the Jainism has evolved, but some branches of Buddhism borrowed a lot of elements from Hinduism/Vedism. So, in time, the line bacame kinda blurry. At least at a first and superficial sight, anyway.

Thank you for all your hard work and hiking to these ancient places, I appreciate it. Your style and observations are sincere and done with a passion for discovering the truth. You not only point out the inaccuracies of the current descriptions but you offer up a realistic and believable explanation. The earth is indeed incredibly old. Ancient man has been around for a long time. More ancient historical facts and artifacts have been covered up by those who want to suppress the facts about our incredibly phenomenal (pardon the pun) history. We have far more potential than we know. Please keep up your good work.

Amazing Brother Praveen what you share and the locations you travel to and witnesses , You also must get amazed by what you see and where you go . As far as I can assess from you amazing videos and the knowledge they offer as equally as the knowledge you offer , I should say "a lot of history books should be deleted as they attempt to pilfer what is not theirs , but instead they rewrite history , muddle it up and use power and control mechanisms ". The evidence and history you provide is to my second to none . So thank You Brother and those that left the amazing foot prints of history . Not that it's a biggie just a curiosity as to why some would offer thumbs down to this video . Keep it up Brother Praveen .👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Very good that man like you have reach this room. Normal visitors are very violent on any such soft delicacate items. They are still intact after so many years and so many attack.

If they allowed you in then they should easily get archeologists to fully scan each surface under multiple different wavelengths . ... That would give much more info and then AI could be used to do a reconstruction.

These paintings are awesome but the sadest part our government does not bother to preserve or maintain the historical monuments. We should say a thank u to u for these wonderful infos.

Nice paintings. Sometimes when archaeologists want to bring out the detail in paintings they simply wet them with water. In this way sometimes details will come out that were not visible in the dry version. A spray bottle can come to be very useful.
